Science Demonstration

As a science teacher, we should have knowledge from all branches of science. Also, we should be able to teach students all the branches of science effectively. By keeping this idea in mind, I have performed 3 demonstrations from three different branches of science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology. I had performed demonstration for std. VI,VII,and VIII class students in Chandrabhaga Tukoba Naik ,High School, Curchorem.

 PHYSICS      DEMONSTRATION  :
"Oil and water dont mix" (Principle: speed of light changes from one medium to another)
For Std: VII   Conclusion: Pencil appears in broken pattern. This is because speed of light in water and oil is different.

CHEMISTRY      DEMONSTRATION:
"Mixing of oil and water" (Principle: It works on hydrophilic nature of soap)
For Std:VI      Conclusion: Soap contain hydrophilic and hydrophobic ends hence oil and water mix.

  BIOLOGY DEMONSTRATION:
"Exchange of gases through stomata" (Through this experiment I have shown oxygen is released through stomata)
For Std: VIII
Conclusion: Air bubbles appears on leaf due to presence of stomata which releases oxygen.
